Family members' perceptions of nursing care for people with psychiatric symptoms

Objective: to understand family members’ perceptions of nursing care for people with psychiatric symptoms. Methods: qualitative study, 13 members, in five clinical inpatient units linked the service a general hospital. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews. Results: challenges perceived by members turnover professionals work schedules and difficulty specialized management. The participants suggested training team, greater multi-professional integration, improved management reduced during care. Conclusion: verbalized difficulties suggestions support reflection on offered symptoms hospitalized units, order improve practices qualify
